attack time the elapsed time from the end of report time to the first organized attack, including getaway time and travel time —synonym response time

control time the elapsed time from the first work on a fire until holding the control line is assured —note control time is sometimes measured only from the time of containing a fire

discovery time the elapsed time from the start of a fire (known or estimated) until the first discovery that results in fire suppression action

getaway time the elapsed time from receipt of notification by the personnel charged with initiating fire suppression to the departure of the first attack unit

mop-up time the elapsed time from control of a fire until organized mop-up is complete

patrol time the elapsed time from completion of original mop-up until the end of patrol activity

report time the elapsed time from fire discovery until the first personnel charged with initiating fire suppression are notified of its existence and location
